On behalf of the Margaretta Township Trustees, the Members of the Margaretta Fire Department and myself, welcome to our  web page. I hope you will take the time to review some or all of the information provided. We are planning on expanding our page to include all Township Departments and give you the opportunity to learn more about the Township and what each department can offer.

     I want to speak about the Margaretta Fire Department. Most people know that if they call 911 an Ambulance or Fire Engine shows up to assist them, But most people do not know what goes on behind the scenes. What type of department protects you?, What does it cost for an Emergency run? What does a fire engine cost? Those are some of the questions we hope to answer.

     We also will be listing current events, a "Meet the Members" section and budget information. We will have a section on current projects that list some of the cost saving projects completed by our own members. We’ll list the items we have purchased with your donations and what our future plans are.

     We will provide a list of the various programs offered by our department such as CPR classes, Fire safety programs, house number signs and other services provided. We feel strongly that for you to make an informed decision regarding Fire Department funding that you need all the facts.
