the Fiscal Officer for payment. Vote: all ayes.
Keith Kreager from Crystal Rock
mentioned that at the Crystal Rock Landowners Association meeting they
discussed putting up a pole barn on property they owned on Maple Ave. He
wanted to know what to do since they would only be putting up a building and
not building a house. The trustees told Mr. Kreager that he would need to go
through zoning.
Mr. Riesterer mentioned that at
the Council of Governments it was mentioned that next year would be a census
and stressed the need for everyone to fill out forms and return them after
they receive them. Mr. Riesterer also mentioned that there is money for lead
abatement in homes. Anyone can get in contact with Erie Regional Planning or
the Health Department.
Ken Hoy from Homegardenr Rd was
at the meeting to thank the trustees and Jim Neill and his crew for fixing
the drainage problem they were having.
Tom Johnson asked if the
trustee had looked over his proposed zoning fees. The trustees said they
haven’t had time to go over his proposal.
There will be an appeals
hearing on December 7, 2009 regarding the placement of a wind turbine for
Margaretta Local Schools at Bogart Elementary School.
There are zoning issues at
several properties in the township that we need to address.
Chief Keimer gave his report.

Mr. Riesterer to grant Mike Jesberer his vacation request for December 27,
29, & 31, pending his obtaining coverage. Vote: all ayes.
Jim Neill gave his
Road/Cemetery report. It was mentioned again that our recycling center will
close at the end of the year. The trustees said the cost to keep it open
would be too great for us to take on.
