Mr. Pooch noted that we have
received notification of the zoning map changes that the Zoning Board
recommended. We therefore must have a public hearing on the zoning map
changes. Mr. Riesterer moved, seconded by Mr. Bias to hold a public hearing
on the proposed zoning map changes on September 23, 2010 at 7 p.m. Vote: all

Mr. Tom Johnson gave a zoning
report. Tom said he sent out letters for the properties on Bogart Road. He
was asked to get together additional properties that need to be cleaned up
so we can get started on them. We will look into getting grant money for
these properties. A TAC meeting on the Maple Hill proposed development is to
be held August 20, 2010.
Mr. Bias moved, seconded by Mr.
Riesterer to pass Resolution 2010-12: an agreement with Richard Scheuffler
for the property at 211 Bellevue Ave, Crystal Rock, Sandusky, Ohio to tear
down his property, excluding the garage and place the cost on his taxes.
Roll Call Vote: Mr. Bias- yes, Mr. Riesterer-yes and Mr. Pooch- yes. After
we receive quotes for demolition of Mr. Scheuffler’s property the township
agrees to give Mr. Scheuffler an option of getting his property demolition
at his own cost.
Chief Keimer gave his report.
He said he had nothing to report on dispatch. He said has nothing new on our
technical updates. There was a brief discussion on record retention.
Mr. Jim Neill gave his report.
Jim said the county sent us a bill for inspections on the Homegardner Rd
Issue II Project and asked us to pay the individual that did the
inspections. The trustees said we should not pay the individual, but instead
pay the county, since they hired him. Jim had the proposal for the Issue II
Project on Miller Road. There was one for a 50% contribution and one for a
25%. After discussion the Trustees decided it would be best for us to try
for a 25% matching fund contribution. Jim will start working on the
paperwork. Jim mentioned that the Homegardner Issue II Project is coming
along good. Tree trimming was discussed. It was also noted that there is a
dead tree in the road right away in Crystal Rock.

Road for a cost of $540. Vote: all ayes.

by Mr. Bias to allow Mr. Neill to purchase 6 pallets of crack sealer for a
cost of $7072 so he can continue doing road work. Vote: all ayes.
Mr. Keith Kreager was in
attendance. He asked if there were any water questions. There was none. Mr.
Kreager asked for any update on the properties in Crystal Rock that need
fixing up. Chief Keimer said that we will be getting bids after the 26th
for the demo of properties. Keith mentioned getting block watch signs for
Crystal Rock Road. The Trustees said he should check with the sheriff office
regarding the block watch issue since we have nothing to do with this.
